Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney
The candidate will be responsible for prosecuting felony, misdemeanor and delinquency matters in all courts on behalf of the Commonwealth and local jurisdictions. Applicant must perform any and all other responsibilities as assigned. Applicant must be able to handle case preparation and court dockets, perform legal research, prepare and respond to motions, briefs and memorandum, and advise local law enforcement. Applicant must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and be in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
