Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of workers' compensation claims, ensuring each case is managed with care and attention to detail.

• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and negotiations, consistently advocating for their best interests.
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals, insurers, and opposing counsel to build a compelling case for each client.
• Stay current with relevant workers' compensation laws, rulings, and changes that may affect case outcomes.
• Provide clear communication and guidance to clients, keeping them informed about their case progress and legal options.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties when advantageous, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients.
• Participate in firm-sponsored events and outreach programs to enhance community presence and build client relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling workers’ compensation cases, preferably with a focus on representing injured workers.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, regulations, and statutes relevant to workers' compensation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high levels of organization and client service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a straightforward manner.
• Skilled in negotiating settlements and representing clients effectively in hearings and depositions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.
