A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will manage an active caseload through all phases of litigation and post-judgment enforcement, thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strong client service and high-quality legal work.

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from initial pleadings through resolution, including post-judgment enforcement.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related correspondence.
• Handle motion practice and appear in court as needed.
• Evaluate matters and make suit/strategy decisions in collaboration with internal teams.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Implement strategies to collect on judgments on behalf of firm clients.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and case notes.
• Provide guidance and support to administrative and legal support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience; collections litigation and/or judgment enforcement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of California state court rules and procedures; familiarity with federal practice is a plus.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits and consistent follow-through.
• Collaborative, professional demeanor with strong client service instincts.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment without sacrificing quality.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
