Job Overview:

A well-established and nationally recognized personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Miami office. This role is ideal for a trial-ready litigator who can manage a high-value caseload from pre-suit through verdict. The position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of personal injury cases including catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death, with full support from a team of legal professionals. Ideal for a litigator with courtroom experience and a passion for advocacy.

Location:

• Miami, Florida

Duties:

• Meet with clients to initiate litigation

• Draft and respond to written discovery

• Schedule and attend fact and expert witness depositions

• Retain appropriate expert witnesses

• Handle hearings, mediations, and motion practice

• Prepare cases for trial and serve as lead counsel during trial proceedings

• File post-trial motions as necessary

• Participate in firm litigation meetings, case reviews, and trial strategy sessions

Requirements:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Minimum of 2 jury trials as first-chair counsel

• Proven litigation success, especially in personal injury or tort law

• Ability to manage a substantial caseload from complaint to verdict

• Strong leadership skills in guiding litigation support staff and legal teams

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida Bar license (required)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Strong legal research, negotiation, and litigation skills

• Strategic thinker with trial readiness and courtroom confidence

• Detail-oriented with effective organizational and time-management abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment
