A law firm seeks a highly qualified junior to mid-level associate to join its structured finance and derivatives practice group in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in esoteric asset-backed securitization, though exceptional candidates with more or less experience will also be considered.

Duties

• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advance matters proactively and manage discrete workstreams independently.
• Collaborate effectively across teams and jurisdictions.
• Engage in cross-border transactions with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in structured finance or related fields.
• Membership in, or eligibility for admission to, the New York, North Carolina, or California Bar.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent judgment.
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment with early responsibility.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in the United States.
