International Contracts Negotiator
The candidate will Identify, evaluate and interpret country-specific Industrial Participation / Offset regulations, then advise teammates and leadership on notable topics. Devise and implement winning strategies for Offset Contracts which comply with RFP requirements and enable program captures. Support LMI in aligning interests of multiple business areas in furtherance of a OneLM approach to international contracting, including development of relationship-level agreements with customer agencies. Illustrate dynamic leadership through establishing credibility with key stakeholders and representing diverse enterprise-wide interests. Provide seamless coordination across LMI and business area stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple ad-hoc tasks as required. 7 years of experience negotiating domestic and international terms and conditions, with emphasis on direct commercial engagements. Thorough understanding of internal guidance concepts. Ability to network across the enterprise, identify synergies, and drive consensus across multiple stakeholders. Advanced interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to work independently with minimal to no oversight and drive tasks to closure. Knowledge of international public-sector acquisition laws and regulations. Understanding of Offset concepts and constructs. Experience at a complex multi-national organization. Juris Doctor or MBA a plus.
