A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney to join their team in Wheeling, WV, with the option for 100% remote work within the United States. This role supports the firm's innovation efforts to enhance legal service delivery through people, process, and technology, focusing on Finance business units. The position collaborates across various offices and departments, reporting to the Global Head of Practice Innovation.

Duties

• Lead efforts to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies in Finance business units.
• Develop and improve practice content to streamline legal services.
• Coordinate the maintenance and organization of deal documents and libraries.
• Identify and integrate relevant practice content into workflows.
• Support projects to develop client-facing solutions and improve service delivery.
• Lead projects to digitalize practice, including automation and data capture.
• Oversee training curriculum and knowledge sharing initiatives.
• Integrate AI into legal practice to enhance service delivery.
• Evaluate legal service delivery efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
• Educate legal professionals on practice content and technology initiatives.
• Develop case studies for marketing and business development.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited institution and admission to practice in a US jurisdiction.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a Finance attorney in a large law firm.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Familiarity with best practices and technology for managing workflows and documents.
• Understanding of knowledge management and project management importance.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging AI in legal services.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Availability to travel as necessary.

Education
