Job Overview:

Duties:

• Ensure compliance with key healthcare regulations such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare conditions of participation, and state regulations.
• Advise clients on HIPAA, health care privacy, data breach, Knox-Keene, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and/or Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise (DCD) program.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on healthcare regulatory matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Take ownership of projects, working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Bar in the state.
• 5-7 years of regulatory experience in the healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with key healthcare regulatory requirements, including the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare conditions of participation, and state regulations.
• Experience in HIPAA, health care privacy, data breach, Knox-Keene, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and/or Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise (DCD) program is advantageous.
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the state.
