Duties:

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution

• Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials as required

• Prepare pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence

• Represent clients before the WCAB and other relevant proceedings

• Maintain accurate and timely reporting to clients

• Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements

• Provide strategic guidance and legal analysis to clients

Requirements:

• Active license with the California State Bar

• Minimum 2-10 years of workers’ compensation defense experience

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to handle files independently

• Professionalism and strong time-management skills

• Reliable access to work remotely in a hybrid capacity

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership (mandatory)
