Duties:

• Assist in managing matters involving federal, state, and local environmental regulations

• Advise clients on environmental compliance and permitting

• Support due diligence and environmental risk assessments in transactions

• Represent clients in environmental litigation and administrative proceedings

• Draft legal documents, including memos, pleadings, and regulatory filings

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters

• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and legal training initiatives

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of prior experience in environmental law, including any combination of regulatory, litigation, or transactional work

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

• Strong attention to detail and analytical reasoning

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Academic performance within the top 25% of the graduating class preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Eligibility for admission to the Tennessee Bar (or willingness to obtain it)
