The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of foreclosure files, providing strategic advocacy from inception through trial.

Duties

• Oversee a robust caseload of mortgage foreclosure files, managing both contested and uncontested matters.
• Attend and lead hearings, depositions, and non-jury trials across Florida circuits.
• Review and draft complex pleadings, including complaints, motions for summary judgment, and final judgments.
• Lead the discovery process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in evidentiary review and legal analysis.
• Act as a primary point of contact for institutional clients, providing regular updates and strategic legal counsel.
• Provide informal leadership and guidance to junior associates or legal support staff.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and an active Florida Bar License in good standing.
• 7-10 years of legal practice, with at least 5 years in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience handling foreclosure trials.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a self-motivated mindset.
• Ability to travel occasionally for hearings or firm business.
