The candidate ‘must have 2 to 6 years’ experience in insurance coverage litigation to join our thriving insurance coverage litigation group in Chicago. This practice represents domestic and international insurers in complex, high value, high profile coverage litigation, providing primary, excess and reinsurance coverage to municipalities, school districts, churches and other public and private entities. Responsibilities and requirements: Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations for clients; Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda; Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents; Attending depositions, hearings and mediations as required. Should be admitted to practice in Illinois; Must have excellent academic credentials; 2 to 6 years of complex insurance coverage litigation experience, bankruptcy experience is a plus.
