The successful candidate will assist K-12 schools and community colleges with a variety of operational legal issues, including real estate transactions, leases, public contracting, construction procurement, disputes, and contract negotiations.

Duties

• Provide transactional support on diverse legal issues.
• Assist with real estate transactions and lease agreements.
• Handle public contracting and construction procurement matters.
• Engage in contract negotiations and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of practice experience.
• Membership in the State Bar of California.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications
