Duties

• Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including brief writing and oral arguments.
• Provide legal trial support to attorneys during court proceedings.
• Review and draft substantive legal motions and responses.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex issues.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys on litigation and appellate strategies.
• Draft clear and persuasive legal briefs and memoranda.
• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
• Stay current on legal developments in appellate law.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in appellate litigation, preferably on the plaintiff's side.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience arguing cases before appellate courts.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
