Duties

• Manage personal injury cases throughout the pre-litigation phase—from intake to demand, negotiation, and resolution

• Analyze case files to identify legal issues and develop effective strategies

• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, settlement options, and legal procedures

• Draft and review legal documents such as demand letters, settlement agreements, and client correspondence

• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and case precedents

• Implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and efficient file management

• Supervise and mentor legal support staff involved in the pre-litigation process

• Collaborate with team members to enhance department performance and client outcomes

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active and good standing membership with the California State Bar

• Prior experience or strong interest in plaintiff-side personal injury law

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and as part of a team

• Strong client service orientation and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes

• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients, adjusters, healthcare providers, and other parties

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited institution

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar (required)
