Duties:

• Handle defense-side litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and procedural motions

• Perform complex legal research and analysis

• Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, and case strategy documents

• Participate in settlement negotiations and client meetings

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience

• A background in insurance defense is highly desirable

• Active license to practice law in the State of Utah

• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently

• Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Utah State Bar (required)
