Job Overview:
A well-established insurance defense litigation firm is seeking a licensed South Carolina attorney to join its Greenville office. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment specializing in the defense of individuals and businesses across various areas of civil litigation, including construction litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage and bad faith defense, and automobile negligence.

Location:

• Greenville, SC

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including construction litigation, premises liability, and automobile negligence.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Participate in legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Assist in the preparation for and conduct of depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and manage case expectations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case strategies.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality work.
• Handle insurance coverage and bad faith defense cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active South Carolina bar license.
• Proficient in legal drafting and writing.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in civil litigation preferred.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the South Carolina Bar.

Skills:
