Legal Assistant/Paralegal
The candidate will be drafting of legal documents in both civil and criminal cases. Drafting of correspondence. Drafting and review of discovery. Drafting of simple motions. Mailing and document handling. Filling management in both electronic and paper form. Collaboration with other legal assistants and paralegals in the law firm. Assisting attorneys with necessary support functions to include: filing documents, transcribing dictation, maintaining calendars, screening potential clients, opening files, assisting with fee agreements and conflict checks, and timekeeping. Other duties as assigned. Legal timekeeping/calendaring software experience is a plus.
