This role offers hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, with opportunities for direct client contact.

Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent.

Certifications

• Bar license in Tennessee.
