• Draft detailed correspondence to clients, legal memorandums, and complex business succession plans.
• Conduct research and analysis on various tax and business law topics.
• Collaborate with the team to develop innovative legal strategies for clients.
• Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in tax law, with a strong emphasis on estate planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in federal income tax, partnerships, and corporate tax matters.
• Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and business disposition regulations.
• Ability to handle complex intergenerational tax planning.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• LL.M. in Taxation or comparable tax law experience is highly desirable.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Washington (or ability to become licensed within a reasonable timeframe).
