A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for its San Antonio, TX office. The successful candidate will possess extensive litigation experience in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and other insurance defense matters, and demonstrate proficiency in managing civil cases through trial.

Duties

• Draft motions, conduct depositions, and present oral arguments and hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and manage client reporting.
• Independently handle appearances and assignments with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas; additional state licensure is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in insurance defense preferred.
• Experience in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and other insurance defense matters required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Texas Bar license required.

Skills

• Strong litigation and trial management skills.
