A law firm seeks a seasoned Intellectual Property Attorney with 15 years of patent experience to manage complex patent prosecution, provide strategic counseling, and support litigation and licensing matters. Duties

• Oversee preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications
• Advise clients on patentability, freedom-to-operate, validity, and infringement issues
• Conduct patent due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and financings
• Support patent litigation teams with claim construction, invalidity analyses, and expert reports
• Draft and negotiate patent-related agreements, including licenses and assignments
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with technical staff on invention harvesting

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in patent prosecution and IP counseling
• Proven track record in patent litigation support and transactional work
• Strong ability to manage multiple high-value matters and deadlines
• Demonstrated client-service orientation and business development acumen

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility)
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
