A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join its Antitrust & Competition Practice, focusing on litigation and/or merger control. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of substantive experience in antitrust law, preferably within a law firm or regulatory environment. This position offers exposure to high-profile matters across multiple industries and jurisdictions and is well-suited for a motivated associate seeking to grow within a collaborative and sophisticated practice group.
Represent clients in antitrust litigation, government investigations, and enforcement actions.
Provide counsel on merger control issues, including pre-merger notification requirements and regulatory filings.
Draft legal documents including memoranda, motions, briefs, and client advisories.
Collaborate closely with partners and teams across practices and geographies.
Support compliance efforts and strategic planning related to antitrust risk.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.
Experience with U.S. federal and/or global competition law frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex casework and regulatory reviews.
Eligible to practice law in the United States.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active membership and good standing in the Bar of the jurisdiction where the position is based or where the candidate resides.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
In-depth understanding of antitrust litigation processes and merger review procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and legal teams.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
