A law firm in Jericho is seeking an Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and skills:

Job Overview:

• Handle Negligence cases, including drafting Bills of Particulars, conducting Examinations Before Trial, and preparing Summary Judgment Motions.
• Must be admitted in NYS.
• Possess excellent written and spoken communication skills and proficiency in technology.

Duties:

• Handle Negligence cases, including drafting Bills of Particulars and conducting Examinations Before Trial.
• Prepare Summary Judgment Motions.
• Adhere to all legal standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete case files and documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
• 5 years of experience or more in handling negligence cases is a plus.
• Well organized and self-motivated.
• Proficiency in technology, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
• Professional written and communication skills.

Skills:

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PDF, and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
