Associate Attorney needed for Farmington Hills office

Profile

A law firm located in Farmington Hills, MI, is seeking an Associate Attorney with excellent written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of litigation experience.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
• Assist senior attorneys with case management and strategy.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.
• 1+ years of litigation experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Preferred Education, Certifications, and Skills:
• Experience in civil litigation, including trial experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
