A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate for its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in commercial litigation and an active Texas bar license. They will work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit.

Duties

• Prepare pleadings and draft motions.
• Conduct depositions and engage in settlement negotiations.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Participate in trial or arbitration as needed.

Requirements

• Three to five years of commercial litigation experience.
• Active Texas bar license.
• Familiarity with all phases of complex commercial litigation.
• Experience at trial or arbitration preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
