A well-established civil litigation law firm located in Fountain Valley, California is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its growing litigation practice. This position is ideal for a recent law graduate or junior attorney looking to build a career in civil litigation, including business disputes, real estate conflicts, and trust litigation. Location:

• Fountain Valley, California

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda for civil litigation matters

• Appear in court to present motions and arguments

• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive case analyses

• Handle discovery, including preparation and review of discovery requests and responses

• Participate in case strategy discussions and trial preparation

• Attend and contribute to depositions and other litigation proceedings

• Work collaboratively with legal staff and senior attorneys on assigned caseloads

Requirements:

• 0–5 years of civil litigation experience

• Strong academic credentials and commitment to professional ethics

• Full-time availability, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Willingness to work onsite at the Fountain Valley office

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar (or awaiting bar results, if applicable)

Skills:

• Strong research and legal writing capabilities

• Excellent verbal communication and courtroom presentation skills

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Motivated to learn and contribute to a collaborative team
