Job Overview

A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Associate in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in patent law, be comfortable in court settings, and possess excellent communication skills for client and counsel interactions.

Duties

• Participate in case analyses and strategic development.
• Conduct factual and legal research.
• Draft pleadings and motions.
• Engage in discovery processes, including depositions and expert discovery.
• Contribute to pre-trial and trial activities.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of patent litigation experience in U.S. District Court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
• Experience with infringement, validity, and damages issues.
• Strong writing skills.
• ITC experience is a plus.

Education

• Undergraduate or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics.
• High academic achievement from a law school institution.
