Marketing and Events Coordinator
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, coordinate and implement all marketing, events, and business development activities. Attend business and networking events to build firm awareness. Manage firm memberships in professional, business, and industry organizations, including maintaining firm profiles on member organization websites and managing a calendar of events. Update and optimize the Firm’s website. Assist with the development, production, and distribution of business development materials, announcements, advertisements, invitations, and other marketing materials. Calendar all upcoming events, sponsorships, presentations, awards, articles, projects, and to do items to the Marketing Department’s project management software. Create monthly reports for the Director of Marketing. Draft and update attorney and staff member bios, practice area descriptions, and other firm information for use in business development materials and on the website. Assist with the development and coordination of the Firm’s advertising plan. Assist with and respond to Response for Proposals (RFPs), Request of Qualifications (ROQ), and other official proposal requests. Assist with attorney practice groups and industry groups goals, action items, and marketing/business development reporting. Maintain attorney profiles on Martindale Hubbell, Best Lawyer, Super Lawyer, Chambers, and State Bar websites. Manage the coordination, logistics, and implementation of external and internal marketing events, seminars, and meetings. Assist with the coordination and logistics of speaking engagements and presentations. Manage logistics, payments, and deliverables of sponsorships, including assisting with attendance by attorneys when appropriate. Assist with PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials. Onboard new attorneys by creating drafts of bios, arranging photoshoots, and updating information on the Firm’s website. Update marketing and business development information on the Firm’s intranet. Process marketing expenses and invoices. Managing requests for firm logo and advertisements requests, and ensure brand standards are enforced. Work with the Firm’s promotional items vendor to come up with ideas for promotional items and place orders. Coordinate sports ticket distribution for attorneys/clients. Direct and track all potential client calls and emails to the appropriate attorneys. Track all potential Law Firm Alliance referrals. Track potential new client businesses/referrals. Miscellaneous projects.
