The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal guidance, conducting in-depth legal research, and advocating for clients in criminal defense and personal injury matters. Duties:

• Represent clients in criminal defense and personal injury cases.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are prioritized.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft legal documents as required.
• Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and manage cases for trial, including the development of case strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records for all client matters.
• Attend court hearings, motions, and trials as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff in handling caseloads.
• Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends relevant to the practice areas.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida with a valid Florida Bar License.
• Proven experience in criminal law and legal proceedings.
• Trial experience is highly preferred.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Valid Florida Bar License.
• Admission to the Federal Middle District of Florida is a plus.
