Duties

• Advise clients on legal rights and draft legal documents related to their cases.
• Attend pretrial hearings and advise clients on strategies post-hearing.
• Manage court appearances, trials, draft motions, and conduct legal research.
• Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents.
• Manage case workload and provide legal analysis for clients.
• Gather additional evidence to support client cases.
• Prepare clients for depositions and gather information from witnesses and experts.

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in criminal defense law through clinics, volunteer work, or internships.
• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Active bar admission (consideration for law graduates awaiting admission).
• Team player open to collaboration and strategizing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with case management software preferred.
