Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation cases, including contract disputes, business matters, and white-collar defense.
• Manage litigation from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal memoranda, and provide advice to clients.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy, document review, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and developments.
• Assist in developing and executing case strategies and action plans.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
• A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in general commercial litigation.
• Experience in handling contract disputes, business litigation, and/or white-collar defense.
• Prior clerkship or trial experience preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Large law firm experience preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
• Litigation and trial experience.
• Ability to manage high volumes of legal work.
• Ability to think critically and strategize effectively.
