A law firm seeks a proactive Financial and Fintech Advisory Associate with at least 5 years of transactional experience for their New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and contributing to a collegial team.

Duties

• Advise on innovative transactions and regulatory reform measures in financial services.
• Manage a range of issues for transactions, including regulatory structuring and enforcement matters.
• Drive market-leading projects such as bank structuring partnerships and platform integrations.
• Conduct pre-transaction due diligence of financial service companies.
• Handle purchases and sales of mortgage loans, MSRs, and receivables.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant law firm experience, with some in-house experience considered.
• Highly motivated with superior client service skills.
• Ability to manage and learn a broad array of transaction types across multiple asset classes.
• Membership to the State Bar of New York or Washington, D.C. is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

• State Bar membership in New York or Washington, D.C.
