Job Overview: A growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Remote Immigration Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in immigration law, with a strong ability to manage high-volume cases and work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to engage in litigation and legal advocacy across a broad range of immigration issues, including asylum, immigration courts, and border enforcement.

Location:

  • Silver Spring, MD

Duties:

  • Coordinate case strategy and legal approach with the immigration department.
  • Manage multiple immigration cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and legal advocacy.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and judicial case law in immigration law.
  • Market the law firm's immigration services and build client relationships.
  • Represent clients at court hearings and trials related to immigration matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Fluency in Spanish (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of immigration law experience, with a focus on litigation and advocacy.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and legal writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet strict deadlines.
  • Solid experience in immigration law and litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
  • Business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish (required).
