Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level associate attorney with experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures to join their Healthcare Industry Team. This position can be based in New York, Washington, D.C., Century City, Chicago, Dallas, Del Mar, San Diego, San Francisco, Orange County, Houston, or Silicon Valley.

Duties

• Advise healthcare clients on strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with private equity and venture capital investments in the healthcare sector.
• Facilitate joint venture transactions between major industry clients.
• Support clients with corporate formation and operational strategy.
• Engage in contract negotiations and other corporate matters.
• Participate in regular training sessions and career development activities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures.
• Strong oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with a team.
• Admittance to the bar in the state of application.

Education

• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant state.
