A law firm seeks a Community Association Attorney in Florida to advise condominium and homeowner associations. This role involves working with sophisticated clients and seasoned attorneys in a growing area of Florida law, without the pressure of billable hours.

Duties

• Advise association boards on Florida statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and amend governing documents such as covenants and bylaws.
• Prepare and review association contracts and related legal documents.
• Counsel boards on governance, elections, and enforcement.
• Assist with dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.

Requirements

• 2+ years of legal practice experience, ideally in community association or real estate law.
• Strong writing and research skills with practical judgment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and clear communicator.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar membership.

Skills

• Familiarity with CAM license and prior association board counsel experience is a plus.
• Litigation experience in Chapter 718/720 matters is advantageous.
