Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney to join their Andover, MA office. This hands-on, in-office role involves working closely with a Partner and managing a well-established Real Estate and Civil Litigation practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of working independently, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, agreements, and correspondence.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Appear in court for mediation, motion practice, and trial work.
• Communicate with clients daily.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to client service.
• Comfortable co-managing cases as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure and Uniform Summary Process Rules.
• Automobile required.

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar
