Job Overview: A prominent law firm located in Hingham, MA, is seeking to expand its team by hiring experienced Litigation Attorneys. This role is ideal for mid-level and senior-level professionals with a strong background in general liability (GL) and medical liability defense work. Duties:

• Represent clients in complex litigation cases, focusing on general liability and medical liability defense matters.

• Manage a caseload and work collaboratively with other attorneys to prepare and present court cases.

• Advise clients on legal strategies, risks, and outcomes.

• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.

• Negotiate settlements and handle pre-trial and post-trial activities.

• Participate in discovery, deposition, and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability and/or medical liability defense.

• Strong legal research and writing skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize workload effectively.

• Proven track record of success in litigation matters.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Massachusetts.

Skills:

• Litigation experience, particularly in defense.

• Legal writing and analysis.

• Case management and strategic planning.

• Negotiation and settlement expertise.

• Strong verbal communication and courtroom presentation.
