The Dallas office of Walters Balido & Crain is actively reviewing resumes for attorneys with 0 to 3 years experience. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with litigation experience who are looking to continue to develop in their careers by joining a leading Texas defense litigation law firm specializing in insurance litigation.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school;

• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas;

• 0 to 3 years of defense litigation experience;

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Products Liability, and Personal Injury;

• Experience drafting discovery and motions a must;

• Experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience a plus;

• Superior communication, writing, and research skills;

• Legal project management experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end;

• Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims;

• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions (including expert depositions);

• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects;

• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
