As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in representing clients, managing complex legal matters, and working closely with experts to achieve successful outcomes.

Duties:

• Prepare, review, and analyze legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and reports.
• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and other resources.
• Take and defend depositions as part of litigation processes.
• Represent clients at various legal proceedings, including conferences and motion hearings.
• Manage complex cases from initiation through resolution.
• Work closely with experts, colleagues, and clients to develop strategies and secure favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in insurance defense, preferred.
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Strong background in personal injury and/or bodily injury litigation (plaintiff or defense).
• Prior experience in the insurance industry or corporate risk management is advantageous.
• Proficient in case management and conducting thorough discovery.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on litigation.
• Proven experience taking depositions and collaborating with experts.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
