Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm in Boca Raton, FL, is actively seeking a seasoned litigation attorney with significant trial experience to join its litigation division. This role focuses exclusively on post-pre-suit litigation in personal injury and property damage matters. The position is ideal for attorneys who want to focus purely on litigation without the distractions of firm management or client acquisition. Supported by a full legal staff and paralegal team, this role provides the resources needed to prepare for and conduct trials efficiently. The firm fosters continuous development by encouraging participation in legal seminars and trial workshops.

Duties:

• Handle a dedicated caseload of 35–40 litigation files involving personal injury and property damage.

• Lead and manage all stages of litigation from filing through trial or settlement.

• Collaborate closely with legal support staff, including paralegals and legal assistants.

• Conduct depositions, including those of expert and fact witnesses.

• Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, and manage discovery.

• First chair jury trials across the state of Florida.

• Participate in firm-sponsored trial training and professional development programs.

• Optionally generate new business, with eligibility for referral incentives.

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.

• Minimum 5 years of experience litigating personal injury cases.

• Proven history of serving as lead counsel in jury trials.

• Familiarity with standard litigation tasks such as depositions, motion practice, and discovery.

• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload with a high level of organization.

• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar admission required.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal case management software (SmartAdvocate® experience preferred).

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.

• Professional demeanor and team-oriented approach.

• Spanish language fluency is a plus.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
