A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced General Liability Defense Attorney to join their team. The role involves managing litigation cases with a primary focus on defending clients in general liability matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of general liability defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Develop and execute effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in good standing in Georgia.
• Must have experience practicing law with a focus on general liability defense.
• Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.
• Negotiation skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
