A law firm seeks a highly motivated and experienced Mid- to Senior-Level Associate to join its Financial Regulation and Derivatives Department in New York City, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions for commercial and investment banks, as well as end-users, within a dynamic and entrepreneurial team.

Duties

• Represent leading financial institutions and end-users on derivatives and structured products matters.
• Draft documents for complex financial structures and novel products.
• Engage directly with clients to foster strong professional relationships.
• Manage securities issuances across multiple investment bank desks.
• Expand knowledge of tax and regulatory aspects of financial products.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients across various departments.

Requirements

• Experience in finance and/or capital markets is highly desirable.
• Admission in good standing to the New York Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar.
