The intern will be attending Senate hearings. Will be assisting with research on specific projects. Sorting and replying to constituent inquiries and mail. Tracking the progress of legislation. Meeting and interacting with constituents in the office. Answering telephones. Attending and assisting with constituent events. Get firsthand knowledge of the way in which a Senate office operates on a daily basis, to observe the legislative process at the federal level, and to develop research skills related to public policy.
