Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Labor and Employment Associate to join its team in Boise, ID. The successful candidate will work with a collaborative group of attorneys advising employers on complex workplace issues across various industries.

Duties

• Assist in handling wage and hour class actions and discrimination claims.
• Conduct workplace investigations and provide employment counseling.
• Engage in labor relations and manage day-to-day employment matters.
• Participate in litigation processes, including motion practice and discovery.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership with the Idaho or Oregon State Bar, or recent JD graduate who passed or is registered for the Bar Exam.
• Coursework or experience in Labor and Employment law.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Membership with the Idaho or Oregon State Bar.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

• Experience with employment litigation and mediation.
