Duties

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, focusing on healthcare law and ERISA.
• Draft and argue motions in state and federal courts.
• Oversee the discovery process and document review.
• Develop case strategy and collaborate with partners.
• Handle client communications and build long-term relationships.
• Make court appearances throughout Connecticut, New York City, and Long Island.
• Assist with family and divorce law matters as needed.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of litigation experience; candidates with varying experience levels considered.
• Experience or interest in managed care, healthcare law, and ERISA preferred.
• Admission to NY and CT bars required; candidates eligible for admission considered with a probationary period.
• Strong research, writing, and legal analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Pro, and legal research platforms (Lexis/Westlaw).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York and Connecticut state bars.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Pro.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Lexis and Westlaw.
