A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on general commercial real estate matters, offering the opportunity to collaborate with partners and senior attorneys. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate, including development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending.

Duties

• Assist in commercial real estate development projects.
• Manage purchases and sales of real estate properties.
• Handle corporate real estate transactions.
• Negotiate and draft leasing agreements.
• Support mortgage lending processes.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Proficiency in drafting, negotiation, and analytical tasks.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the relevant state or eligibility for admission.
