Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in complex commercial litigation and be admitted to the New York State Bar or D.C. Bar.

Duties

• Prepare, draft, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Manage discovery and document production in large cases.
• Take or defend depositions.
• Advise clients on complex domestic and cross-border matters.

Requirements

• U.S. J.D. and admission to the New York State Bar or D.C. Bar.
• Significant experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Clerkship experience, particularly at the federal level, preferred.
• Proactive and team-oriented approach.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar or D.C. Bar.
