Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing Atlanta office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on premises liability, product liability, and other litigation matters. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and have the chance to manage a substantial caseload while receiving guidance and mentorship from senior attorneys. This position requires a self-starter with a strong commitment to client service and a passion for growing within the legal field.

Duties:
Manage a substantial caseload of litigation matters
Draft, prepare, and handle pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda
Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions
Conduct legal research competently and efficiently
Prepare for and take depositions of parties and experts
Review client documents, prepare case evaluations, and draft status report correspondence
Participate in mediations and court appearances
Work with senior attorneys on case strategy and provide legal support
Requirements:
At least two years of experience in premises liability and product liability defense
Experience in automotive liability, property management, and/or commercial litigation is a plus
Licensed to practice in Georgia state and federal courts; additional state admissions are a plus
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple case files in a busy environment
Knowledge of state and federal court procedures
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to efficiently transition between cases and tasks
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active Georgia State Bar license required
Skills:
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superb organizational and prioritization abilities
Ability to efficiently manage multiple cases
Knowledge of both state and federal court procedures
Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
