Job Overview: A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a highly experienced Partner-Level Attorney to join their Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in breach response and data privacy counseling, strong academic credentials, and exceptional communication skills.

Duties:

• Lead and manage complex data privacy and cybersecurity matters for clients.
• Provide strategic counsel and legal advice on breach response procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop proactive data protection strategies.
• Draft and negotiate data privacy agreements, policies, and compliance documents.
• Represent clients in litigation related to data breaches and cybersecurity issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar, with good standing.
• Experience in data privacy and cybersecurity law.
• Proven track record of handling high-profile breach response cases.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Other relevant certifications in data privacy and cybersecurity.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
